Anglesey Arms – traditional pub food, 5 min walk away (out of the cottage and turn right and follow the road under the bridge and carry on), dogs allowed in bar area.

The Victoria – recently refurbished pub/restaurant, great patio with views of the Straits – 5 min walk away. Telford Road. Dogs allowed on patio and in the bar area.

Menai Bridge main street has lots of options for both meals out and takeaways, a guest recently recommended Plus 39 for takeaway pizzas and The Freckled Angel for a special meal.

On the main street Dylans has a Deli shop, lovely for snacks, salad bits, bread etc.
